The 80th anniversary of the Nepabunna mission last month was a special occasion for all Adnyamathanha people.
Chairman of the Adnyamathanha Traditional Land Association Vince Coulthard said the anniversary meant many things to lots of people.
“The celebrations were remarkable, absolutely awesome, everyone there enjoyed it,” he said.
“Some people got a real buzz out of just reconnecting, other people certainly enjoyed hearing the stories and the life experiences of people who have lived out in Nepabunna.”
However, a highlight was the raising of the Adnyamathanha flag for the first time.
